Find out if your mobile is vulnerable with Stagefright Detector App for Android

Stagefright is a critical Android vulnerability that attackers can exploit using specifically prepared Multimedia Messaging Service messages (MMS).

What makes the vulnerability particularly troublesome is that it can be exploited passively on devices. All that it takes is to sent a prepared MMS to a device running Android to get system or media privileges on it.

Since it is possible to delete the MMS after it has been processed by the device and before the user had a chance to open it, it may go by completely undetected.

Can you remove the large c:\recoveryimage folder in Windows 10?

When I checked free storage of the main drive of a computer running Windows 10, I noticed that the folder c:\recoveryimage was taking up more than 27 Gigabytes of space on it.

That was a problem considering that the drive itself had a total size of 180 Gigabyte only.

Further investigation revealed that it was not updated since April 30, 2015, and that the majority of files in it where driver files.

A quick check of the folder showed numerous Nvidia driver folders, all at a size of about 330 Megabyte each.

Instead, you get an option to search the store for suitable applications or use another program installed on the PC itself (when you right-click and select autoplay for instance).

How to save all open tabs quickly in your browser of choice

You have several options if you want to save all open tabs in your browser of choice so that you can access them at a later point in time.

Most browsers support session restore for instance which, when enabled, reloads all tabs open the last time you used the browser.

While that works well most of the time, it can have disastrous consequences if it does not as you may lose access to all or some of the sites.
