Last Chance to be part of Donation Coder’s N.A.N.Y 2017 event

Donation Coder hold an event each year called New Apps for the New Year, or short N.A.N.Y, in which coders pledge and release new programs.

What I like particularly is that there is always a wide variety of programs that get released during the event. You get Windows programs and Android apps mostly, but web apps have made an appearance in recent years as well.

All programs and apps are free to download and use, and the majority of Windows apps are portable on top of that.

The event needs coders to pledge to release one or multiple programs on January 1, 2017, and mouser asked me to spread the word as now is the last option to contribute to this year's event.

The 2017 event

If you are interested in the event, be it as a coder or user, then you may want to check out the official forum on the official Donation Coder website.

There you find listed all the pledges for the year, information on how to get started as a coder, and even some releases already that you can download and try out.

All releases are free to download and use, just like it was all the years before.

Past Donation Coder N.A.N.Y events

Since 2007 we have held an annual event that we call NANY (New Apps for the New Year), where we ask the coders who hang out on DonationCoder to create some new piece of free software and share it with the world on January 1st of the new year.

Check out the links below to get a feel for the event. It lists all, or at least the most interesting, applications released for each of the events.
