When Microsoft announced that Windows 10 would be available as a free upgrade for users running Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1, it probably did not imagine the confusion the statement would cause.

Rumors began to appear shortly thereafter on the Internet claiming that users would have to pay after the first twelve months to continue using the system, and that Microsoft would introduce a subscription system similar to Office 365.

Virgo is a 7 Kilobyte virtual desktop manager for Windows

Virgo is probably the lightest virtual desktop manager that exists for the Windows operating system. At 7 Kilobyte on disk and less than 1 Megabyte of RAM when it runs, it is hard to beat.

Existing windows versions do not ship with virtual desktop functionality and while that will change when Windows 10 comes along, it will take years before the operating system may take the crown as the most used version of Windows provided that it won't fail as hard as Windows 8 did.
