XSearch: classic portable search for Windows

XSearch is a free portable search program for the Windows operating system that enables you to find files based on a variety of parameters that you define in the program's interface.

When it comes to search, Windows users have several options to find files on PCs they work on. They can use the built-in search tool, or use third-party software instead.

Firefox 47: Synced Tabs Sidebar

Synced Tabs is a new feature that is planned for Firefox 47 that will display tabs from other devices connected to a Firefox Sync Account in the browser's sidebar.

Copy Cloud Storage service’s life ends on May 1, 2016

Barracuda Networks announced plans yesterday to retire its cloud storage services Copy and CudaDrive on May 1, 2016.

The company launched the cloud storage service in 2013, in a period when many company launched or improved their online storage offerings.

Copy had a lot going for it. It was backed by Barracuda Networks, an established company in the storage and technology field, offered clients for all major desktop and mobile systems, and an interesting option to share files directly with other users of the service.

Virustotal: Scan firmware for signs of manipulation

Google's popular online virus scanning service Virustotal received an update recently that enables users of the service to scan firmware just like other files.

One of the biggest strengths of Virustotal is its multi-engine scanning support which tests files uploaded to the service using more than 40 different antivirus engines.
